Almost Human has now officially announced that its first-person PC dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock will be coming to iOS.

We first heard of Almost Human's intentions to create an iOS port of Legend of Grimrock from a tweet back in 2012. We hadn't heard anything since and presumed that was due to the studio working on a sequel for PC.

It turns out we were right. Almost Human said in the announcement today that it didn't want just anybody working on the iOS port, and it was too busy to do it itself.

Luckily, a friend of the studio, Juha Pinola, stepped up and has been working on the port for a while now.

"The game isn’t just a direct port from the PC version of Legend of Grimrock," Almost Human said.

"We have always felt that the game wouldn't work on touch screens straight out of the box but needed a few custom mechanics to get the benefits of the touch interface."

As you can see above, Almost Human also released the first image showing Legend of Grimrock running on an iPad.

Regarding a release date, Almost Human could only say it will be ready "when it's done".
Dust the cobwebs
Now that we know for sure that it's coming, let's quickly go over what Legend of Grimrock is.

It plays a lot like the Atari ST classic Dungeon Master, actually. You control a party of four adventurers (of your choice) as one unit, and move in real-time across a 3D grid-based dungeon.

There are environmental puzzles to solve, lots of deadly traps to avoid, and of course, loads of enemies to battle. Expect to meet huge poisonous spiders, knights, and giant tunnel ogres face-to-face.

If you're looking for more information on the game, check out its official website.

You remember Tiny Archers, right? 4.4 stars…one million combined downloads…has very small archers in it? Well it's soon to be getting its biggest update yet on iOS and Android.

Tiny Archers does what it says on the tin. It's a game about tiny, little archers attempting to defend their castle from rampaging goblins by using tiny bows and arrows.

With this next update you'll have the ability to flip the tower position to the right hand side. New languages will also be incorporated, opening the game up to French, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian-speaking territories. It wouldn't be a complete update however if the usual array of bugs and tweaks weren't carried out so there's that to look forward to.

On top of the update news, apparently Tiny Archers has a big supporter with some serious grill (it'll make sense in moment) as 21 year-old touring car driver Norbert Nagy is a big fan of the studio. So much so that he's posted a picture of the game's leading character on his car.

If you haven't got it already, grab Tiny Archers free-to-play on the App Store or on Google Play now.

East Side Games is trying something bold with the upcoming Dragon Up: Match 2 Hatch. It's entering the crowded match three puzzler pool, but is challenging you to match two instead.

That might sound easier in theory, but in practice it really isn't. That's largely down to Dragon Up being far less of a casual experience, and more of an actual puzzler, with you having to figure out the perfect series of moves to maximise your points.

You're also not given that many moves in the first place. In fact, certain levels only provide you with a single move, and it's up to you to figure out how to use it to get a massive score.

There are tricks to help skew the match in your favour though. If you match a bunch at once, you can freeze the move counter, giving you a period of free moves with which to set up the perfect game.

You can also hatch upgradeable dragons, which offer bonus perks during a game.

Though the colourful cartoon visuals may fool you, Dragon Up might be a tad more intimidating than most match-something fare. But it eases you in gently over the course of the initial few levels.

There's no release date set for Dragon Up: Match 2 Hatch just yet, but it will be out on iOS and Android by the end of the year.
Download and enjoy the adult gameplay content with the sequence of intimate activities involved in the flow that allows users to enjoy the relaxing mode of the order-taking game where you let the entire command.

Today we learnt that indie game publisher, Abylight Studios, will be bringing Qbics Paint to the Nintendo Switch later this year.

By making use of the Switch's touch screen, you'll 'become a sort of Michelangelo' by sculpting blocks with your own finger to reveal the Qbics hiding beneath. As well as shaping the blocks, you'll also be able to paint and customise them by using a 24-colour palette.

Use the Creation Mode, to sculpt and paint freestyle on your own Qbics. Or, if you're feeling more artistic, you can edit those you've already unlocked and set them against a variety of stock images.

With four game modes to play around in, more than 50 models to unlock and empty spaces to use, and stress-relieving gameplay to enjoy, it's a game available to all skill levels.

By using the touch screen primarily, however, it's likely that you won't be able to play the game when docked.
