A MAN and a Lion traveled together through the forest. They soon began to boast of their respective superiority to each other in strength and prowess. As they were disputing, they passed a statue carved in stone, which represented "a Lion strangled by a Man." The traveler pointed to it and said: "See there! How strong we are, and how we prevail over even the king of beasts." The Lion replied: "This statue was made by one of you men. If we Lions knew how to erect statues, you would see the Man placed under the paw of the Lion."Pocket Rogues Mod Pocket Rogues Mod v1.099 Fix 3 (Mod Money) Features:Mod MoneyDynamic action-roguelike with generation, blood and leveling. Mmmm! ..
It is a time of rumours, a time of great suggestions and endless possibilities. Well, it's felt like that anyway, ever since Apple announced its Apple Arcade subscription gaming service earlier in the week. Now an advertising image has sparked another round of guess work - because at first glance it makes it look like No Man's Sky is coming to Apple Arcade.

We've included the image, which was first pointed out to us by one of our intrepid Twitter followers, Peter Hunt, just below this paragraph. And from a quick peruse of the information, it does look an awful lot like No Man's Sky might be heading to the Apple Arcade. There it is, in the background, on the Apple Arcade Store for Apple TV.

But dig a bit deeper and things look like they start to fall apart. There's a store description poking out there as well, and a quick read of it should set alarm bells ringing. It's not describing No Man's Sky. According to this Reddit post, it's actually talking about Sky: Light Awaits. It's another game with the word sky in its name, from Thatgamecompany.

That should be the end of the matter then, right? Clearly the wrong image has been used in some marketing. Or has it? Sky: Light Awaits, is actually a free to play game that's available right now on the App Store. And Apple has made it plenty clear that every game coming to Apple Arcade is going to be premium.

You might be thinking, oh well maybe it's a sequel to Sky: Light Awaits, but here's the thing, the text on the TV in the advert is lifted word for word from Sky: Light Awaits iTunes description. Here's the first couple of paragraphs from Sky: Light Awaits App Store page -
Sky: Light Awaits is a heartwarming and beautifully-animated social adventure experience designed to be played together by you and your loved ones.Set in a wonderland above the clouds, Sky invites you and your friends to fly up to explore the buried mysteries together and rebuild a fallen kingdom for its ancient inhabitants. Using your courage and compassion, players must connect as a community to share and build on their flame to spread light back into the world.
The plot, as one might say, has definitely thickened. We've reached out to No Man's Sky developer Hello Games for comment, and we'll let you know what they say. In the meantime, what do you think? Is this a snafu at Apple's end with the image, or is it a foul up with the text?

heresysoft.com
Micro Breaker is a modern take on the Breakout style games where you control a paddle at the bottom of the screen and have to destroy all the blocks by bouncing a ball into them, whilst ensuring the ball itself doesn't slip past you. This modern spin on that idea will be available for iOS on November 13th.

The first major difference you'll notice when perusing the screenshots available for Micro Breaker is that it's going to be 3D. On top of that, it's also going to have realistic physics, which means that if you manage to knock down a fairly integral part of a stack of blocks, they'll all come tumbling down.

You'll also be doing a little more than simply bouncing a ball into a pile of brick. You'll also be able to grab yourself one of over 50 power-ups that include multi-ball, lasers and the usual being able to increase the size of your paddle. It's certainly nothing new to this type of game but with its neon-blocky graphics, these power-ups do make Micro Breaker look very stylish.

The developer says there will also be several other variables throughout the games 130 levels. This appears to take the form of structures that can actually move, thus making them harder to hit. There are boss-type enemies that have unbreakable blocks to protect their more vulnerable parts. This will mean you'll have to get your angles and timing spot on to bring them down.

Micro Breaker can also be played in either portrait or landscape, which is always good to hear. Extra choices for how you can play a game are never a bad thing in my book. There will also be an Augmented Reality mode too if you want to smash 3D bricks in your living room or on a train.

Micro Breaker will be available on the App Store on November 13th. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

We held a Big Indie Pitch at ChinaJoy this year, and had a bunch of excellent entrants. Selecting the winner was tough, but there can be only one. And in the end, Abi's brand of emotional puzzling won us over.

It's set in the distant future, when humanity wipes itself out and robots take over.

The eponymous Abi is one of these robots and the hero of the game. She's programmed for education and parenthood, and teams up with the industrial robot DD on an adventure across the barren world.

The Legend of Skyfish 2 isn't the only movement on the Apple Arcade front today. No, there's not another new game, but one of the best on the service – Grindstone – is getting a noteworthy update that adds a bunch of levels alongside a new boss, enemy and weapons.

That boss will be Jorj's long-standing rival, who can also chain through enemies as our hero does. To battle them, however, you'll first need to slaughter your way through 15 extra levels. Each of those levels will contain additional traps and foes that are aimed to test even the most hardened Grindstone aficionado.
